What becomes a task
Items tagged as to-dos in your notes.
Connect it
- Choose Add connection in the sidebar, find OneNote, and choose Connect.
- Next to Connected account, choose Connect and sign in.
- Set the options below and an age limit, then choose Save.

Settings
- Location
- Whether the notebook is in OneDrive or on a SharePoint site. For SharePoint, also pick the Site.
- Notebook
- The notebook to import from.
- Section Group
- Optionally narrow it to one section group.
- Sections
- The sections to import. Leave empty for all of them.
- Tags
- The OneNote tags that make a task, grouped by purpose: tasks, follow-ups, reference, projects and personal.
- Filter String
- Only notes containing this text are read.
- Include bulleted lists
- Also create tasks from bulleted list items.
- Include tables
- Also read tables. This can create more tasks.
When you finish a task
The to-do tag is ticked.
Good to know
- Too many tasks? Turn off bulleted lists or tables, or add a filter string.
