How syncing works
When OneTaskList imports, and what flows each way.

When it imports
- Each board imports every 5 minutes by default. Change it in Settings › Import frequency (mins).
- A board nobody has opened for 14 days imports every 2 hours instead.
- To import now, choose Check now on the board toolbar. Its menu also has Reload all tasks, which reads everything again.
From your tool to OneTaskList
- New tasks arrive.
- Title and due date changes come through, unless you’ve edited them in OneTaskList.
- Completed, reopened and deleted tasks are followed. A task that no longer matches your connection’s filters is archived.
From OneTaskList to your tool
Completing or reopening a task updates it in the tool, where the tool allows it. See Complete a task.
When something goes wrong
If a tool returns an error, that connection pauses for an hour. If the tool asks us to slow down, it pauses until the tool says to try again. Saving the connection starts it again straight away. A paused connection shows red in the Filters pane, and the info icon in Connection Details shows the last sync and why it paused.
